Phoenix Fan Fest- Winter Wonderland

Phoenix Fan Fest is Fast approaching! This Friday the 12th, the folks who brought you Phoenix Comic Con are gearing up to bring you their first winter wonderland for Comics!! I’m super stoked to take a trip to Glendale Az, and meet all the hardcore comic fans who demanded a winter show! I hope all my San Diego friends know about this. It would definitely be worth the drive to have a winter con! Just think, you won’t have to melt in the heat in your costume! Imagine! And it’s going to be held in the University of Phoenix stadium! 8682d828e3ca200e499bcea567172819I’m looking forward to it and I’ll be there through Sunday. If you want to check out more, you can go to there website and find out about all the artists who will be there, vendors, exhibitors, and the STARS! Check it out here.

I’ll be traveling with Mike Miller, and Oly Pitman (Print dealer extraordinaire! Pimping his prints!) I’ll have a few new prints with me to showcase as well. Good Ol’ Deadpool, Superman, Wolverine and Colossus killing it in the Danger Room, Cable, and Maverick (Which I did have in Reno, but never got to properly introduce them!) So, I’m not sure where I’ll be at the show, but I’ll be in artist alley somewhere. So be sure to scope me out, with my big Thundercats banner! I’ll be there! You be there too!

See you this weekend in Phoenix! Peace!

Monomyth Conclusion Almost Here…

Monomyth_Cover3
Cover to Monomyth 3: Pencils and inks by Eric Ninaltowski, colors by PJ Catacutan

In about a weeks time the epic conclusion to Monomyth will be hitting the store shelves and we couldn’t be more proud!

From Siike’s writing, to my artwork, to PJ’s colors, we’ve created something really special for you and we’re super excited to get this book into your hands! It marks the end of the series but we’re sure it’ll leave with you with something to remember and have you anxious to read it again all the way through! (Which you can do by the way, when the trade releases early next year!)

Thank you to all of those who have supported us thus far and have been buying our book, and have been bugging your local shop to carry it! We appreciate it to say the least! And we can say without a doubt that you won’t be sorry! Siike has really pulled out all the stops on this ending, and spent literally days and nights, and rewritings and rewritings and rewritings to make the ending spectacular!! I’ve read other endings that just fizzled out rather than went out with a bang… You know, the kind of book where you’ve invested 5-6 issues into it and then the conclusion finally comes out – and you’ve been drooling for a month and super excited-  and when you start reading, half way into it, you realize they spent two pages on the battle between the hero and the villain and the rest of the book wrapping up the story, and you’re like, That’s IT?? REALLY?? NOOOOOooooooo!!! Not this ending! Siike has created an ending that is as iconic as it’s characters. I hope you’re ready for a thrill ride!

“Imagine a young Jim Lee drawing Prophecy meets Gilgamesh and you get Monomyth; an amazing book.” -Adam Glass (Exec Producer of Supernatural)

Monomyth 3 will be hitting the store shelves on Oct. 22nd, and in case your local comic shop doesn’t carry it, issues will be available on the OSSM comics website soon! (Not to give Siike more work, Lord knows he’s doing tons! But they will be available)

Before I go, here’s a little sneak peek to wet your palate… and don’t forget to send us your feedback via Facebook or Twitter after you read it! We love hearing from you and what you think of our stuff!!

Update…

portland-comic-conHi all, a few announcements! The next convention I’ll be attending will be the Porland Comic Con. Jan. 24-26 of next year. I planned to attend New Orleans WW Con in February but with the birth of our third baby planned in February (our second Boy!), I will have to skip that Con, but I’ll be attending another one later in the year. TBA!!

On another note… More good news, I’m slated to pencil a four issue series with the talented writer, Siike Donnelly, with OSSM Comics. I’ll have more to announce on that later and I’m sure, images to share as well, but for now, get prepared for some OSSM stuff to come!! I’ll keep you posted! Thanks for checking in, and check back soon!

Wizard World Chicago!

Heading to Chicago next week for the Wizard World Con. I’ll be in Artist Alley Booth C-12 so be sure to stop by if you’re there! Never been to Chicago (except passing through on the plane!) So I’m excited to see the city, I’ve heard it’s beautiful! I’ll have my prints and maybe a few new additions! I’ll have some AP’s from some of the sketch cards series I did, and some other stuff to sell. And as always I’ll be doing commissions! Can’t wait, it should be a great time. I’ll be posting pictures as well from the show too so be sure to stop back! Hope to see you there!

New course announced for Wargun…

With the ever increasing burdens and priorities of work, and providing for family, it has rendered my dream of completing this webcomic in a timely fashion powerless. As I’m sure you’ve noticed! I’ve been unable to draw and earn my living while at the same time draw, write, ink, and color my webcomic (for free) in my spare time. I really don’t have any right now!
But luckily we live in an age of technology and media, and for me, it doesn’t mean my dream is over, I just have to simply change course. So that’s what I’m gong to do, and that’s where I need your help!
If you like what you’ve seen so far (the little you have) then you can help me see this dream through to completion. Sure I haven’t worked on X-men or some other Awesome title, and don’t have a BIG name, but you’re the judge, and as the audience you have the awesome power of determining what makes in today’s world of entertainment and what dies out and never hits the page. Do you like my art? Would you like to see more of Wargun and have it become a webcomic/comic?
Here’s how you can help. “Like” us on Facebook… here. When enough fans are generated. We’ll launch a Kickstarter page to raise the funds to make this comic a reality.
In the meantime, I’ll work on more pages so you can see more of what this comic will become and determine if it’s something worth supporting! If this works, and is successful just know that Wargun isn’t the only comic idea I have in store. There are plenty more. And once Wargun is a successful reality, I’ll have the freedom, hopefully, to create more titles that are just as awesome, just as unique, and just as worth reading as Wargun. So the road doesn’t stop here. We’ll go places!
So are you with me!?! Head on over to our new Wargun facebook page and just “like” it. From there you’ll be able to follow all the latest, and keep up to date on what I’m doing, and what new art I’m posting.

Thanks so much! And thank you for your support thus far!!

Wargun sneak peek

Well it’s been a bit since my last post, but I wanted to keep the lines open and at least post a little something! Here is a sneak peek at a page from my sketch book which includes a look at the background of Wargun and how the idea all got started. It was something I had an idea for way back when actually, and it’s involved into what it is today. But this story in particular I thought was make for an amazing webcomic simply because of the fast-pace and the action that would carry it.

Also I wanted to post a first! At this years San Diego Comic Con (which was a blast! And I got into Artist Alley, home of the most elite artists in the world!) I was able to do my first Wargun Commission! (Ok, you’re not as excited as I am ;( but a young kid named Dillon from Canada was checking out my booth and he really like my character, and he wanted a commission done of Wargun! But out of every other character, and much better artist to choose from, he chose Wargun! I was honored to say the least, and I could tell this young man wasn’t just going to blow his money on whatever, he was going to choose wisely. So, Dillion, if you’re out there, you have the first Wargun Commission ever! Just fyi. And what an honor it was doing that commission for you. Thanks bud!
